Wet boards and snow stay outside, your friends get the back seat. Four boards or four pairs of skis on a rack that needs no roof rails and comes off when the trip is over.
A ski rack without roof rails
Most ski racks need crossbars or factory rails. The STAG Rack holds to the roof or rear window with vacuum cups, so it works on cars that have no rack at all, including cars with glass roofs.
Using it after a day on the hill
If you park in icy conditions, bring a bottle of de-icing spray. Spray where the cups sat, wipe off snow and moisture, and apply the rack as normal. A clean surface makes the tightest seal, and warming the cups before you apply them helps them grip. Wind, snow and elevation do not hinder performance.
Bindings and fit
The rack has enough clearance between the ski clamps and the roof for nearly all types of bindings when the board or ski is upside down.

How many skis and snowboards fit?
The ski attachment holds 4 snowboards or 4 pairs of skis. It has enough clearance between the clamps and the roof for nearly all types of bindings when the board or ski is upside down.
How do I use the rack after a day of skiing?

How long does the suction last?
Each vacuum cup goes through a 48 hour suction test from our manufacturer, plus more testing once we receive it. When driving, check the cups every time you stop for gas or a break. Done that way, even a cross country move (one customer has done it) is no issue. Keeping the cups and the car surface clean goes a long way.
How fast can I drive with the rack?
We cannot legally endorse going over posted speed limits. We have driven the rack far above the limit (100+ MPH) on a closed course for testing, and it held up.
Do I need a base unit with every attachment?
Yes, every attachment needs a STAG Base Unit, and you only need one. The bundles include a base unit. Buy a second base only if you want to use attachments on two cars at once.
